So you want to squeeze the crap out of small business owners and freelancers via tax. You don’t want to tax the wealthiest in society anymore than they are, but you think that those who work in the public sector or via PAYE should get more money and more protection than those without a safety net to fall back on. 

Ultimately you’ve nailed your support to the most unpopular PM in decades who and let’s get back to the title of the thread, employed Peter Mandelson who No10 knew was dodgy at the time.
