So the defence of Mandelson is that he's an idiot. In which case why is an idiot who can be easily be compromised by being too close to people who shouldn't be trusted an ambassador?

If you want to pick on him because he doesn't fit with your politics at least be honest. Paedophiles take the finest of people in don't they, just look at the CofE the Catholic church, institutions that support children all infected by these awful people who know exactly how to inviegle themselves.
