More people live in Halesowen than live in Greenland. If I was Trump I'd just offer them $1 bn each for their vote for self determination.

You do surprise me.

Do you think there's a single Greenlander who'd turn the opportunity to move somewhere a bit warmer? Think of the savings on their gas bills alone...

Probably worth watching the interviews with them. And I think you’re projecting what they find desirable in life.

We need to get closer to Europe, we need to bring South Korea, Japan, Canada (already moving closer to China) and Australia into that circle. There is no pandering to this jackass administration.

Agree. We really need to not be so reliant on the USA for defence.  Nothing wrong with the rest of that post either.

Not just defence. So much of our IT infrastructure relies on US companies and is therefore vulnerable to the US govt. That all needs to change.

At least your consistent with your approach to both Greenland and Gaza. Just a slightly colder armpit.

Imagine seeing everything through the prism of money. The only hour youd realise how soul sapping that is would be your last one.

Money simply provides an individual with choices they would not otherwise have.

If you value freedom and choice then you must view most things through the prism of money.
