Would anyone be happy with Rob Edwards.

No

And no again!
From what I understand, the club want a foreign coach and that is quite a gamble. Personally I'd go with Eustace for the simple reason I don't think he would make us worse and might quite possibly improve us a few league places. From what I understand though, it won't be him.
Surely the club want the best coach available regardless of where they are from? Why insist on a foreign one?
I personally have no clue where we go from here but just hope we don’t panic and make a hasty mistake. It’s too big a decision. Yes we may be weaker in the short term but we can’t afford another Bruce. Or Pepe Mel for that matter.

When Burnley last got promoted under Dyche they won the champ and were the highest scorers in the league. The time before they got promoted under Dyche they finished 2nd and were the third highest scorers. It's not like he 1-0ed his way to the Premier League.

Dyche has experience taking a team to the Premier League, keeping them in the Premier League, establishing them as a Premier League team without spending bucket loads of money comparatively and taking an unfavoured team into Europe. He has done everything we want to do with a similar size team.

I agree with what you say about Dyche I just don’t think he fits the Patel/ Nester model. I also think the same about Mowbray.

Must be in the minority that would snap your hand off for Dyche.

Considering where we are now, under financial constraints with little room for manoeuvre, we'd be mad not to go for Dyche.

Having said that I'd be very surprised if he came to us.
If he waits a few months he'll be able to choose between Southampton, Leicester and whoever else comes down.

Then there's the teams above us who don't go up.

However if he relishes a challenge......
