The same way someone can say, "we need to raise £10+ million in the next three weeks."

Good point well argued Sir.

Well I believe the captain there will be no fire sale. All some want to do is think the worst.
Let’s seee what happens if/when the takeover takes place, we are in a good place playing wise.

Not at all.  Some of us don’t have our heads in the sand, thinking / wanting to believe,  everything is rosie in B71.

If players aren’t sold in Jan, some will be in the Summer.  A new owner won’t change that.

Exactly. A new owner may be able to pay the bills, but when your wage bill exceeds turnover you will make a loss. Continued losses and you will fail FFP.

Other clubs will know this (it's publi information) and so they will have us over a barrel.

What happens now is nothing to do with the summer. A lot were saying there would be a fire sale in this window but I don’t think there will be. As for the summer things can change drastically if we go up, yes it’s a long shot, but some of you cannot wait to sell our players to say look I told you so. Never any optimism just negativity. I like to be optimistic and with hopefully new owners on board why not.
Bye the way I do know what will happen in the summer if we don’t go up, but a lot of you seem to want it to happen now.

The latest loan gives us the cash to pay the wages, but it's completely unsustainable.

Talking of lights, did you notice how many floodlights were out yesterday? We haven't spent a penny in maintaining the ground in years.

Exactly....pot to piss in

There is work to do for sure but that’s a fairly sizeable exaggeration

Must admit all the floodlights seemed to be OK vs Aldershot...

Which club in the championship has a wage bill that's less than turnover ?
I can't name a single one (excluding parachute payments)

If anything I’d say the new regs matched with this new owner will put us in a strong position compared to most clubs. The biggest challenge as ever will be finding a way to stay up when we get up

People are forgetting that this isn't even legislated for yet (Wages v Turnover, although it will be likely).
