Wot I am watching now

Just started watching No Activity. It's an Australian comedy from around 2016, with the main actors from Colin From Accounts. On the IPlayer somewhere. Mad, but laugh-out-loud funny IMO.

Slept on it when it first came out but have started watching The White Lotus and am enjoying it.

Both series are slow burns, but by the end of each I was hooked... Some truly cover your eyes moments too!

Yeah it's good, also helps that the main woman in it (who was also Woody Harrelson's mistress in True Detective) is insanely hot.

Watched Sisu over the weekend, what a glorious, unashamedly far fetched, fun fest. Loved it.

Also watched Babylon, which I can't say I didn't enjoy, it kept my interest even though 3 hours long, which, in my house, equates to 5 hours due to my missus and daughter constantly getting up to faff about and pausing it every time!

I do not have the patience or head space these days for a three hour film.

Really want to see Killers of the Flower Moon when it comes out in a couple of months but already planning to treat it like a three part series and do an hour or so each night.

I thought Babylon was excellent, until it got nearer the modern era when it went down hill and became somewhat boring. The early years stuff was great fun.

Had Sisu ready to watch for ages, but not got round to it.

Also, season 3 of Ragnarok on Netflix tomorrow - which if you haven't watched and love a bit of sci-fi/fantasy, you may find a real quaint surprise.

Checked out No Activity after someone mentioned it on here and me n the missus ended up binging the first series.
Worth a saft half hour.

Finished S2 last night, thought it was excellent.

Best drama series I’ve seen since Succession.

A good film is that.  Although the real life crew said the captain was not like Hanks portrayed as in reality life he was an arsehole.  They said knew he would risk piracy and he ignored warnings not to take that path, but he wanted to get to the destination as quickly as possible and use less fuel.
