It's The Ashes (again)

Something needs to be done about over rates 11.3 overs per hour even with a spinner is not good enough when they should be at 15 overs per hour.

They're cheating.  They know we like to bat quickly and probably have set targets for times, it puts pressure on the batsmen as they're not moving the score along quick enough under BazBall.  Until run penalties are imposed teams will do this.

Under 230ish it's their's to win.  230-330 is the fun zone and 330+ should be ours.

Not at all... Weather tomorrow looking dodgy. Really flat wicket on day 1 and 2.
We needed the overs to attack them.

I would do the same today. Get to 270 lead by tea then declare.

Yet again England look to be getting the upper hand, and we let the Aussies back in.

If the shoe was on the other foot the Aussies would be ruthless and wouldn't allow us back in the game. That'll be the difference this summer.

Commentary saying that England may only look at batting for 60 overs
, Regardless of runs. Very Val-ball cricket.

A lead of just over 200 and runs are like gold now. I really wouldn't fancy any lead under 260 with Moeen carrying an injury but who knows with this team?

I'm starting to fear our only chance now is to hope for a wash out tomorrow. I can't see us getting to 300, and anything under 250 Australia will chase down.

250 ain’t that easy to get 4th innings. If England stick on another 40 plus I’d still favour them.

I hope you're right. Tomorrow will be gloomy and heavily favour bowling conditions.

Anything north of 230 gives us a right good shot at it. Hopefully in overcast humid conditions which should give our seamers something to go at.

Kohli can be a cock at times but he is nowhere near as big a twat as Smith

Aussies favourites at the minute - but anything over 260 will be tricky on a last day pitch with a bit of juice in it
