They’ll lose in the next round or 2.
I’m just glad we didn’t get through yesterday and ended up having to play Wolves or Villa. In our current situation with the league and injuries yesterday was a blessing in disguise.
Villa, the only rivals who could’ve won the cup, going out was a relief. I know too many of them.

Wolves were bad, probably worse than we were yesterday but they managed to scrape a goal.

As above, they’ll get knocked out soon enough.

If Wolves get to the final, Dave Whelan will be busy. Holds the dubious record of breaking his leg at an FA Cup final (against Wolves) and (for the time being) being the chair of the only club to win the FA Cup and get relegated from the top tier in the same season.

It will be known as the Dave Whelan final even though neither Blackburn or Wigan will be represented.
