  Game Changer.
Posted by: Sandking - 01-28-2019, 10:23 AM - Forum: WBAUnofficial - Replies (3)

The re-emergence of Field and the boy Harper.

Whatever the merits ( or otherwise ) of messers Barry, Livermore, Brunt, Mozza.
Whenever we lose it seems that the bulk of these matches have more to do with our pedestrian ( at times) CM area being exposed rather than any other shortcomings the team may have. ( A point consistently highlighted on this dump after a defeat )

If Field and Harper can hold form and carry on operating as they have done the past couple of games I think it could be the difference between promotion and another season in the Championship.

They both give options ( not necessarily saying they should be starters ) - But something different in terms of what they offer through the middle.

A possible game changer perhaps over the upcoming months in our quest for promotion?
Or am I overestimating their value in the push for automatic promotion?

Villa away 2,167.

Presumably more will follow and this is just the initial allocation malarkey like Stoke?

I know it could be potentially moved but surely that's not going to make much difference.

No this isn't about Jenkins an Lai in the January window!  Big Grin

Birdy

Thanks once again for your time and efforts to get this dump back up and running.

You never ask so I'd thought I'd start a thread as many posters have already offered. Do you need any funding for this recent move? How is the pot looking going forward?

Make this into a sticky thread thingy and If you have a link to online payment etc I'm sure there will be lots of willing contributors.

Don't be out of pocket.

West Bromwich Albion or Brighton and Hove Albion will play....

Number 3 Wolverhampton Wanderers or Shrewsbury Town

It couldn't could it?

And if we did get through would Moore pick a reserve 11 again.

Wondering what Big Dave is thinking we need. To my mind , the development of Harper and Field has left our midfield looking pretty healthy. Two good keepers. Defence looking pretty solid these days. So, I reckon another centre forward, and a replacement for Barnes should be our priority ?
