He didn't encourage people to boo he just said he personally didn't find it bad or disrespectful when people booed our national anthem and explained why.

Are we really becoming that sensitive that booing national anthems before our first major final in 55 years is becoming a talking point? When we play in Scotland and they boo our national anthem, does anyone really give a shit? It's rivalry. Football will always have that.

Being ‘woke’ is a tidal wave the conservative of thought can not deal with. The England football team are the light to the fuse

A socialist worth £80m.

That he's not actually very socialist at all. Just in relation to everyone else.

And your point is what?

I thought the who point of modern socialism was about improving standards for all not lowering them because someone has an earned wealth.

More over he’s using his status, wealth and platform to do good in the city of Manchester and beyond and if you take a moment to look at what he invests in, who he employs then maybe this nonsensical wealth barometer becomes obsolete.

I’m also tired off culture of over sensitivity and this misrepresentation. This is a case in point. He stated he could see both sides and ultimately didn’t have an objection nor did he encourage it. We are such a self-destructive breed in this country; so what if a vocal minority boos? Does it stand for what I believe in? No. Is it social unacceptable, unsure.

How many posts have we had calling out the media abuse of sterling? How many after the right wing press got after Rashford?

Instead we are focussing on booing (sorry potentially booing) a national anthem and criticising a media pundit for failing to unequivocally condemn it.

Minute we do it it’s front page headlines on the Guardian!

It’s football, it’s rivalry, it’s a final, shits gonna happen, I could really see all the Italians politely respecting our anthem if the final was in Rome? Please……

Correct.

From what I've heard, there is only one opinion he agrees with and that is his. The professional team he uses are very uncomfortable

It's the tired old 'Champagne Socialist' argument, that by the time you've done okay for yourself you should have 'matured' into not not giving a shit about others.

Unsurprisingly it's neither new or original.

Call yourself a socialist and yet you go to capitalist shops?!?!

It’s the same rationale that brought you James McClean getting paid with money with the queen’s head on it (sorry to FF if it’s still too soon).

Where are all these socialist shops then? Are they the ones with huge bread queues outside?

Spot on.

No doubt we’ll receive a bigger fine than what the Bulgaria’s/Czech’s/etc..receive, when they’re chanting monkey chants at one our lads.
