Sheff U’s strike force alone should see them get in the top6 next year regardless of who they appoint.

Fulham will depend entirely on how much money Khan decides to pump in again and how much motivation the likes of Johansen, Knockaert and Mitrovic have to come and do their duty in the Championship knowing if they get promoted they’ll be left on the bench/loaned out again!

McBurnie and Brewster are excellent Championship strikers that have been starved of service by SU, but will both score goals for fun in the champ.

Indeed, but writing players off for the Championship because they haven’t scored in the PL is just plain stupid.

History is full of players who score for fun in the second tier but can’t step up.

Just a shame Bilic, our board and the folks on here gleefully stating how many more goals he’d scored than Watkins over X number of games didn’t realise this too.

Just a shame Bilic, our board and the folks on here gleefully stating how many more goals he’d scored than Watkins over X number of games didn’t realise this too.

Our board didn't see him as a striker either. Bilic should have been told no over him, completely. We were interested in him as a couple of million as a wide player cum striker if needed, not as a lone striker for 16 million fucking quid, but we gave in. Stupidly.

For all the blame Slav gets for Grant, Dowling and co should be getting pelters for caving. Everyone except Athers could see Grant would be a flop, yet they still signed it off!

Don't forget Grant is £2m a year for the next 6 years, so not a huge chunk out of a seasonal budget when planning for our summer recruitment
