That's a problem to solve in the summer for sure.

I will happily agree that Grant isn’t a striker.

Just a shame Bilic, our board and the folks on here gleefully stating how many more goals he’d scored than Watkins over X number of games didn’t realise this too.

Our board didn't see him as a striker either. Bilic should have been told no over him, completely. We were interested in him as a couple of million as a wide player cum striker if needed, not as a lone striker for 16 million fucking quid, but we gave in. Stupidly.

For all the blame Slav gets for Grant, Dowling and co should be getting pelters for caving. Everyone except Athers could see Grant would be a flop, yet they still signed it off!

I don't disagree. Prime example why manager input on transfers shouldn't be that large.

Still young enough to kick on and do well

Cuzer

True, I hope he uses the Champ season to kick on, but not convinced so far.

Dowling deserves pelters for spending £4million+ on a player who only makes the bench at Milwall. Grant will do alright in the Championship. Can't say the same for Zohore.

Not all signings work out. Zohore apparently played well for Cardiff during their promotion season.

Only with a tremendous amount of coaxing from Warnock and even then, only in spurts. The Cardiff fans were sorrier to see Peltier go than Zohore.
