Christ, I hope it’s not as bad as that season. The only saving grace was that I missed most of that season as I was playing school matches on a Saturday afternoon.
Wish I was - ours were Wednesday afternoons (6th form), which meant I saw 100% of our league victories that year! Surely this one can't be as bad as that...?
It was a lot worse - top tier now is a completely different beast. I expected 1 point at best from the first 4.
I will only be concerned if we don't get 3/4 players in by 16th and haven't got a win on board by the end of October. We need to get at least 5 points from the next 3.
