I prefer 4-2-3-1 personally. A good number 10 is great to watch, and can help unlock stubborn defences.

However football is moving towards 4-3-3, with inverted wingers in the front three. You're seeing this with the likes of Ozil, football is changing again and the number 10 is being left behind.

I think the number 10 role is still fine when people play a 352/532, but with a back 4 the 10 often leaves people too exposed unless of course they graft too.

I would go 433 with the onus on us getting another box to box midfielder. Perreria wide right and another 2 signings for the other positions.
