Nah, refunds are only valid if the game is abandoned before or during. You paid to watch 90 minutes of football, which was delivered. They wouldn’t refund retrospectively.

They’d obviously not want to refund.  Season ticket holders have a stronger case though as the club will have breached contact law with the ST holder as the club did not provide what the ST holder paid for i.e. a full season of attending football matches. It’s a bit like buying any goods and it later turns out to be faulty and you are legally entitled to a full refund or a new one in replacement or a repair so you get what you paid for, even though you used the item up to the point it broke.

This isn’t going to be easy which ever way you look at it.
