His true value at the time was probably around £3m if he'd had any length on his contract. We picked him up for under £1m and he contributed with some decent cameos and was a good influence on the squad. We will sell him for a profit. If you think that's bad I hope to god you don't work in any form of sales business. As astute short term business deals go it was a no brainer. It looks to me that we had an exit strategy right from the off. Very clever business....
