Summer Transfer Window Thread

Is correct. Personally I never thought he was so bad, offered a threat here and there.

Crap signing.

Cheap, contributed a goal and a few assists, helped us get over the rut post-January and potential to recoup the money. How was he a crap signing?

How the fuck was he a crap signing? His true value at the time was probably around £3m if he'd had any length on his contract.

We picked him up for under £1m and he contributed with some decent cameos and was a good influence on the squad.

We will sell him for a profit. If you think that's bad I hope to god you don't work in any form of sales business. As astute short term business deals go it was a no brainer. It looks to me that we had an exit strategy right from the off.

Very clever business....

Possibly and seems logical.

It was said initially they had offered him to us as they're in the mire - 5m loan - repaid if we went down???  (how if they're going bust?)  Didn't make sense then or now.

We'll find out in the next 104 hrs.  Still don't believe our main target is in the 'public domain', just as Ivanovic wasn't, Rondon, Pete etc...

Just 4 more days of this boring annual ritual that keeps the media circus in a kind of job.
