The year my wife and I bought our first house together was the Di Matteo / Hodgson season. We'd looked at about 10 different houses in the Stourbridge area, and there were about 3 serious contenders, but the one I really pushed for, was the one we're still living in. One of the feel good factors about it was the fact that on the two separate occasions we viewed it, we beat Arsenal 3-2 away and Man Utd 2-1. It made me more certain that this was the place for me, as it felt like a good omen. Anybody else have examples of the Albion affecting / clouding your judgements?

My daughter was conceived the evening after Earnshaws hat trick at Charlton. Does that count?
