I guess they would want to keep him but some of their high earners may be difficult to offload so may need some funds but it may be interesting situation

Allowing for GD, take 4 games for Fulham or anyone else to catch us up, now. That means we'll be in the automatics right up to game 40.
A few results en route for us, or against the likes of Fulham, and we're looking at... game 41, 42 before we could be caught...
And that's not chicken counting, that's maths!
