Woo-hoo! The fine is €30 million and the ban is for two seasons.

But City can appeal to CAS so that’ll probably mean the Champions League ban will be lifted (so City are happy) but the 30million fine (which is about the cost of the left leg of one of their players) will stay so it can line the pockets of whichever organisation the fine is payable too - and everyone is happy. Or am I just getting cynical in my old age ?

I've just realised that Sheffield United are currently in fifth spot. Surely not.

Hope so.

Reckon it will be bye to Pep at the end of the season as well.

Good news.

Ideally a failed appeal by Shitty should = double the penalty!!!

City will win the appeal so the ban will be lifted. UEFA will say they've done what they could, but it was overturned in the courts, therefore not their fault.

Everybody's happy and absolutely nothing will change. Clubs will continue to disregard/bend the FFP rules (delete according to your opinion) as the precedents have been set by the PSG and City cases.

If the rules relating to UEFA FFP have been broken in relation to sponsorship then de-facto they have also broken the EPL FFP. I gues the FA are waiting to see if there's an appeal to CAS before commenting......

Could this be footballs equivalent of Saracens?
