Interesting comparison

Of all our promotion or play off seasons after 16 games.

Interesting that we were in the top 2 in all our 4 promotion seasons bar 2002 when we had the late rally to overhaul Wolves. And not in the top 2 in all our 3 play off seasons. Which maybe goes to show you that this time of the season is quite telling as to where we will finish, despite some suggesting that it's far too early to tell.

Truth is the points are as important at this time of the year as they are in Spring. A good run gives momentum and a buffer.
Think we are very well placed and honestly can’t see us losing more than 6 or so games.

Points are with the same now as at the end.

Interestingly the joint worst home record, best away record.

I doubt we’re getting relegated.

Think we lost 7 the last time we won promotion? (with over 90 points under RDM)

We carried a real goal threat that season so rarely drew... we were on occasion awful hence 7 defeats!

If we can be a bit more cautious and structured at home as we are when we play away we should get automatic promotion.  With our away form and results there is no need to go gung-ho.

The aim should be to have a strong, robust shape early on probe patientiently to get the 1st goal.  When we have done that we can pick teams off and will win most of our home games.

I just think, the longer we can stay top, the more we'll grow into the role. Very big win yesterday with the chasing pack all winning.

I think we lost 11 the season we won the Championship (2007/08).

And this is the only time in all the promotions/play-offs where we have been 1st at this time of year.
