Needs another clear out.
The problem is that the boardroom appears to be every bit as smelly. "A fish rots from the head" is a saying that's getting lots of outings among Stoke supporters.
You’re going for O’Neill the NI Manager
I'd have preferred us to have aimed in a Southerly direction for a national team manager, but it was always going to be slim pickings given the state of us.
I don't have any informed opinion of O'Neill, so if he gets the job it'll have to be a case of 'I'll see how it pans out'.
I hope my unbridled enthusiasm doesn't get too much for anyone.
Strange to know what to make of O'Neil as a club manager as it's been 8 years since he managed Shamrock Rivers to the title and Setanta Cup!!
No manager experience in England at all and you wonder what knowledge he has of the Championship this season. I would say as experienced managers go you've gone for a bit of a gamble which I'm surprised about.
He has however done wonders with a very limited pool of players for Ireland and his players seem to love him. Who knows it wouldn't surprise me to see him come and try and get Brunty in January for a player/coach role.
