Jones' 'philosophy' took Luton to a play-off then a promotion then another promotion in successive seasons. From Luton's perspective it was hardly pointless. Pulis has a philosophy every bit as much as Jones has. Neither philosophy guarantees success.
Either play to the squads strength or put yourself under pressure from the outset. His record was appalling and my reference to his pointless philosophy was alluding to his points haul with yourselves. I simply do not believe that a sensible manager cannot do better than Jones. Im sure he talked a great game but that’s as far as it went.
