Stoke's failings lie predominantly with their moronic and outdated management structure. A manager will not rectify it. Why do you think the first thing Jenkins looked to do was bring in a competent technical director? Look at our signings vs the players Stoke have brought in, we have had a clear plan under Dowling whereas Stoke have spunked money at everything and anything in panic.

Disagree. As soon as I saw his post-match after they played us last season, I knew he wouldn't succeed. His overview of the match bore no resemblance to what had actually happened and smacked of a manager stubbornly putting his system ahead of what the players can do.
The basics of football management are to get the best out of the players you have. Everyone's happy when your are winning.
