2007/08 season similar to this one?

Parallels? On the back of a Play off defeat finishing 4th the season before. A few top players leave. Wise reinvestment. An attacking, entertaining side that also leaks goals. Win the league but with a relatively low 81 points. All teams in the league taking points off each other.

I see parallels more with our 2009/2010 team. We got promoted without a decent centre forward.

I think we will get better as the season moves on and finish with a much higher total than 81.

True. Relied on likes of Dorrans and Brunt for goals that season. Although Newcastle and Albion were a fair bit ahead of the rest. This season doesn't look like 2 stand out teams (still early days though).

I think we will become that standout team. Surprised to see us 1st as expected us to start slowly and really improve post January.

Need a striker and tighter defence to be the standout team. Still think we will be top 2 though.
