In the more recent era there are some obvious loan candidates for this accolade at the The Albion.
Looking back a bit, Arthur Albiston was good for us in the dark days, but only for 88-89, had a good single season, a true professional.
Conversely, there's stacks of one season wankers.

Saudi had that one season where we broke through and scored 10-15 goals. Then his head went and it all went to shit.

Lilwall was one that burst onto the scene was ace and then turned to utter shite. Think injury played a big part in that mind.
