We scraped a win v Tunisia. Very fortunate. We smashed a team we should be smashing. Lost to Belgium.
We then drew to Colombia, beat a poor Sweden side then lost to Croatia and Belgium, again.
We merely achieved what we should, results wise. Maybe even under achieved.
Obviously on the face of it, reaching the Semi is a great achievement and I enjoyed the ride. But when you break down who we actually beat and who we didn't, the achievement isn't as great as it appears.
Context, as always, is needed.
When you consider Liverpool's and Tottenham's results this season how would it be possible for Man City to be walking away with the title. It's more competitive this season because they have more competition.
