Just watching Utd v Spurs. The tempo they are playing with, lots of first touch, risky passes, at pace is getting the crowd up and firing. That's creating the momentum. We need to do that today.
It also just goes to show how little 'formations' really matter and it's about players and balance. When Utd get it they still have a back three, but they have so many more offensively minded players in that team. Dalot and Martinez pushing j tk midfield when they get it.
Mainoo making a huge difference with his running power.

Of course, it's a lot easier with a couple of hundred million team, but I agree, we have to get at em. It'll pump up the crowd and everything will feel better

Oh absolutely, but the difference in 'feeling' from a few weeks ago is crazy.
The old "Fuck em off, get into em...", is what we need for a few months now.

Great in theory Lurker, but other than Mowatt, who do we have capable of making a risky pass forward with any degree of accuracy from a deeper position?

Styles, Mowatt, Price, MJ, Maja. All perfectly capable.
But it also means you need runners and pace in the team.
Anyway, it's obvious that's not what we're doing today.
Clog it up, get it wide, hope a cross hit Dike on the head or falls to price seems the tactic.
