Let the rugger buggery commence!

To try and make the elite sport more accessible they’re dedicating 20secs every so often to explain the rules!!

You couldn’t make it up.

didn't it start last night? And aren't ITV testing out adverts overlaid during play?? (if so I'd fuck ITV right off)

France will be a tough team to get past this year but it's great that France v England is the last game. I'm up at Twickenham tomorrow with my daughter who's popping back from uni for it. Always a load more enjoyable than a trip to Wembley for England football matches but Jesus, they don't half take the piss with their ticket prices.

And the ITV scrum advert thing, ALL BE IT short, was a pain.

France beat Ireland, the TV advert scrum thing was fucking annoying, people should complain.

Just been shown this, if they do this in football they’ll be riots!

Every year, like clockwork, the usual dullards line up to bash a sport they can't understand.

No there wouldn't be. People will grumble about it on the TV, radio and message boards. If the leader of the ruling body for worldwide football can bestow a made-up peace prize on one of the most narcissistic people of our time and no-one do anything about it then a 5 second advert during substitutions would cause a small ripple that dissipates almost immediately.

It'll be here in time for the World Cup.

It's a strange one rugby. Not a big fan myself, having never played the game, but watching it in a pub is good fun.

It's a game that really holds little public imagination though beyond the internationals.

TBH I don't really bother with it myself.

Just find it funny how it triggers certain people.
