I know we're going to see a lot of posts about how bad the players are. I know we need to give Ramsay time to get his ideas across. But - - - -

He seems to me to have got every single decision wrong thus far. Has to play 3 CBs so he tries Mikey at RWB. Has to have a left-footed CB so Taylor is the only show in town. Had to change his system to spark the team last time, but reverts to the same line-up today. Saw some awful defending last time, but leaves Campbell out anyway and keeps Mepham on the pitch for 94 minutes of the worst defensive performance I've ever seen. Saw Bielik struggle in midfield last time, but left Molumby and Mowatt out until too late. Took Isaac Price off instead of moving him to where he could influence the game.

Some players come out with credit for putting a shift in. Some were worse even than we thought possible. The commentators on the stream observed that the players looked lost, that they were being asked to do things they couldn't do.

This is on Ramsay. He's made an abysmal start and possibly set us on the path towards relegation. I said on Friday that a sensible man would have picked a side resembling Mozza's FA Cup battlers and taken it from there. I can't see how he claws this back. He's lost the players before he even found them. 1991 again.

There's certainly an arguemnt for letting Mozza hold it until the summer and then appoint a man for the rebuild when we can, supposedly spend money. He at least seemed to be able to get the players to do the basics, and the only one that plays our expensive, if made of biscuits striker that has a decent record, when on the pitch.

I don't care what anyone tells me, and Mason was certainly not the answer, but we never got such an inept performance under Mason.

This is the culmination of giving Mason too much rope. If theyd' got rid in October before the International break we're fine.
