The recruitment in the summer has meant that we are very unbalanced as a squad and it should be very concerning for everyone.Mepham ,Phillips ,Bielik and Campbell all right footed centre backs and not good enough to play on the left,which only leaves Charlie Taylor who was most probably bought as a left back.Everyone can see he’s no longer got the legs for left back and against quick forwards he’s hardly viable for left sided centre back.
We obviously lost centre backs Bartley etc but the recruitment to not cover on the left is a sackable offence in itself.We can’t particularly do the five at the back because we haven’t got a right sided wingback as Johnson proved the other night.If you do play a five where does a Johnson fit in then or a Wallace and then we are still scrambling about to trying to find the best position for Price.My suggestion would be to play Price where he gets to see a lot of the ball and certainly not behind the centre forward.
