This has yet to be mentioned, Friday was another penalty missed by the officials, yes a great free kick by Price but it was a penalty. It’s about time we had a rub of the green regarding some decisions.

Don’t think it’s just us to be fair, there seem to be lots of stonewall pens not being given. Too many refs are getting brainwashed into thinking VAR will bail them out, even when it’s not in operation. Listening to linesmen (or whatever they’re called these days) for anything other than throw-ins and corners would be a start.

Was it though? The ball was outside the box throughout the incident. The first contact was outside the box. Grant fell into the box. Good defending to get the challenge in where he did. We'd be aggrieved if it were given against us. It's one of those where VAR would have given the pen to Liverpool but not to Brentford.

Haven't watched the highlights but the Boro supporters on Squids away view thread seemed pretty convinced we should have had a penalty.

There was some contact outside the box but the actual foul looked just on the line to me so it's a pen all day. Just imagine if the free kick was wasted.

We have had numerous penalties turned down this season the worst being against Portsmouth which would give us an extra 2 points.

As a club we must have upset someone.
