Off to Londonderry City.

His Mum and Dad still live on the Creggan looking out at the Bogside and the City Walls. They play in the Irish League not the Northern Irish League so they are called Derry City.

You can tell a lot about a person by how angry James McLean makes them.

Spot on, James McClean has certain folk on absolute strings. The irony being that similarly how angry someone calling Derry, Londonderry makes a person.

While angry is too strong a word, he epitomises the rot setting in. A type of limited footballer brought in by our crumbling scouting department which ultimately led to a relegation we've yet to recover from.

I don't think Duffers was talking about his ability tbf.

Leaving aside the politics, I've always admired JM. He played in the same team as Chadli, a player I despise.
There's no question who had the greater ability. There's equally no question who made the greater contribution to our, and any other, team.
Chadli, always unfit until it suited him not to be. McLean, who gave everything.
I know which one I want in my team...
