Boro are 2nd, and one of the best teams in the league.

I think that's being overlooked a little in some of the post match analysis.

I never expected anything other than defeat against such a good opponent, but it is disappointing to not come away with a point, and conceeding the last min winner was a kick in the balls.

But overall, there's a good amount of positivity to take from last night. Some of the same old mistakes and failings were present, but that was always going to be the case. You're not going to eradicate our weaknesses with 3 days coaching.

Boro finished below us last season. And like us had to sell their best players. But they looked a fluid, entertaining side last night. Proves what can be done.

Thankfully, they didn't find fourth gear.

Indeed talk about modern lack of patience.

Loads of positives last night.

We could be quite decent next season is my initial thought.

Having the best player in the league (Hackney) certainly helps…

I'd certainly expect us to be challenging for promotion back to the Championship.

Boro are a good side, who dominated the vast majority of the game and we’d have been perhaps fortunate getting a point from the game. They’re where we would hope to be this season, but where we hope to be when Madhe has got his feet under the table.overall, last night’s performance was positive with lots to take into the games versus Norwich and Derby. If you throw in the Pompey fixture too, they’re big games in our current position. In Madge we trust- yes, Wotty, you are hearing me correctly.

I'm happy with that last night in terms of a first game in charge.

Anyone who is overly negative about losing 3-2 to 2nd place when it's the first game in charge for a new manager really needs to give their head a wobble.

I heard reports of boos in the stadium. Not sure if this is true but if accurate that's disgraceful imho. The notion someone comes in an manufacturers free flowing attacking football after three days, with missing players and the current crop of shite defenders is ridiculous.

The man needs a lot time and transfer windows, we've been on a downward trajectory for quite some time. I trust Ramsay to sort this shite out. I did not trust Mason.

Definitely heard a boo from a few rows behind me in the 58th minute. There's always one.
