Saw some of the Stourbridge Massive this morning. They were leaving at 1pm. Can't make this one as have an early start for the Lakes tomorrow.

We were leaving at 2.30 but A1 is closed adding minimum hour extra with the re route.

Leaving at 3 bells, still a good 3 hour drive from Merseyside but the best route avoids the A1 closure, so that's a silver lining.

I did the Boro Friday night game a few years back, I think it may have been the August Bank holiday game? It's a long journey and a very late day when it's a night game up there, fair play to anyone going!

I was tempted, I couldn't get 1/2 day off work. I work from home, but I can't risk work from the coach with poor hotspot signal on the motorway for a good few hours!

The assistant principal where i work was trying to tempt me to go (Boro fan). He said he could pull a few strings and get my last lesson cancelled. All well and good until he realised that I taught his daughter last period and that she'd struggle to get home without a lift from her dad.
I certainly doff my cap to all Baggies making the journey up there on a Friday night. Last time I went there was the 2 2 FA cup game in 2007 I think
