Curious to know what laws have actually been broken here. That photo is readily available in the public domain and isn’t in any way offensive or malicious.

I presume it was Led By Donkeys who were doing the video projection here. As most will know they've been doing this for years, but I don't recall any of them being arrested for their video projections previously (I could be wrong). They did get arrested for putting up an anti-Gaza obliteration banner outside Labour's HQ in August.

It seems different standards are being applied because it's Trump, presumably because the UK Govt wishes to be seen to be bending over backwards to appease him at every turn. The public licking of his shoes will no doubt be a main event later.

projecting an image onto someone else's property constitutes as Trespassing if you do not have permission of the property owner and/or relevant authority.

Then there is - Public order act as the image was intended to cause harassment/distress to others.

And finally Planning Laws & Ordinance laws as they projected onto a Heritage site.
