This is a question I asked my mates as we left the ground yesterday.
We scratched our heads for a bit and concluded we don’t have anyone with any real pace anymore.

It used to be Saido.
Down the M42, high as a kite.

We do lack pace right throughout the squad. You can get away with it in this league to a large extent but its up top where it hurts us most, we have no one who can play off the shoulder and stretch the game in behind.
Gilchrist is supposed to be quick but we've not seen him yet. Of the others it's probably a toss up between Grant, Johnston and Wallace. All have a bit of pace but they're not exceptionally quick.

Who has been the fastest in your time watching the Albion?
For me, Kevin Bartlett has to be up there.

Probably some of the middle aged coke heads at the back of the Brummie, given how quick they bolted out their seats and down the steps after Derby scored.
