Was just reading about this.....cancer can fuck right off......shitty disease.

I didn't realise until I heard on the Chris Hoy Tour de 4 that prostate cancer does not have a screening program.

Given it's the most common cancer in men it's about time this changed.

Until then if you are in one of the high risk categories, or you have any signs/symptoms PLEASE go to your GP and get checked out.

I make a point of having a PSA test every September, and it was only yesterday when I went for the blood test.

Echo that Mart, I do similar, sort of implement your own screening. Had the bloods done about two months ago and will again in a year max

R.e. GR a few of us bumped into him at the 1-0 win at WHL under AFP. Had a good laugh with him and of course reminded him of the Steve Bull back pocket incident. Hopefully he recovers ok.

Screening isn't offered because PSA testing is so unreliable - so if you do get a bad PSA I'd suggest you don't spend endless nights worrying whilst you wait for your appointment. Easier to type than to do, though.

I hope Graham has a full and speedy recovery - met him once, an absolute gentleman with a warm personality.
