Message from russell hoult's child. This is a fundraiser for a charity not for him.

I know some of you follow him on twitter I'm not on any other social media so please share if you can.

Please be respectful this is not the time to joke about him or his past.

Please read

? For My Dad, Russell Hoult ?

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. In September 2023, my dad was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC). Then in August 2024, we were told he also has Stage 4 Bile Duct Cancer. Both are now terminal, and Dad is receiving palliative care.

He’s always been my role model — strong, kind, and quietly determined — and we’re doing everything we can to make sure he knows how loved he is.

On 26th October 2025, I’ll be running a half marathon in his honour to raise money for AMMF – The Cholangiocarcinoma Charity. They’re the UK’s only charity dedicated to raising awareness, funding research, and supporting families affected by this rare cancer.

If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean so much to us. And even if you can’t, please share this post to help us spread the word.

Thank you for helping me show Dad that he’s not facing this alone. ?

I had no idea he was terminally ill. I'm stunned. That's appalling news to read Sad

All the best during this tough time, and hopefully you'll raise a fantastic amount and raise awareness, good luck with the half marathon.

I'm really sorry to read this thread.

Sad news about Hoult. In over 50 years watching Albion the only Albion keeper I've seen who was better than Hoult is Ben Foster.

Shame the way his career ended, but unquestionably one of the best we’ve had. Probably only Foster better.
Dreadfully sad news.

Blimey thats awful news. Houlty and Foster definately the best two keepers i've seen up the Albion.

Always remember the save he pulled off very early in the Palace promotion game. That day could have turned out differently if not for that.
