What a bizarre concept this is. My local is advertising it. I don't understand why you'd want to have a meal and be treated like shit. If I wanted that, I wouldn't pay over the odds for it, I'd just order a soggy pizza from Spoons.

Has anyone done an event/gone to a restaurant that does this? I don't get it, tbh, but I'm sure plenty do.

You need to give some context… this just sounds like an awful lap dancing restaurant

I'm not sure what context to give, other than you book a table at whatever restaurant/pub is holding the event, and the waitress/waiter is rude to you throughout service!

Might as well stay at home .. same service at a fraction of the cost.

I'm the cook in the house, and tbf, I am rude to myself, so that's fair!
