Truro City

All the best to Truro City for their forthcoming season in the National League - the first Cornish club ever to reach Tier 5. They've also taken the brave decision to become full-time this season.

The total distance they'll need to travel for their 23 away games this season is a mind-boggling 13,560 miles, which is an average round trip of 590 miles per game. Their longest round trip will be to Gateshead (914 miles), whilst their "local derby" is against Yeovil, just 140 miles away. Anyone interested can read more here.

Wasn't so long ago they were playing outside of Truro. I want to say at Gloucester, but that's too far away, surely?

That's a hell of a lot of time on the road.

I do hope it doesn't foil their progress.

A great little story that… Colin will be waving his CV around at the first hint of trouble next season I’m sure!
