What a player. Too good for us at the time and probably not what we needed in a relegation battle.

Always said he was one of the most technically gifted players I’ve ever seen in the stripes. Had a touch like no other (except from half a yard out).

Think we signed him and Greening on the same day, was a real statement of intent going into the season.
Kanu was a wonderful player to watch, and should have got more game time IMO. Remember him being absolutely unplayable against Bradford in a night cup match.
