He'll outlive us all.

What a player. Too good for us at the time and probably not what we needed in a relegation battle.

One of the classiest players we've had, was a thing of beauty in his prime. Not when he missed from half inch out against Boro though!

Always said he was one of the most technically gifted players I’ve ever seen in the stripes. Had a touch like no other (except from half a yard out).

I remember reading on Teletext that we signed him. I was in disbelief!

Think we signed him and Greening on the same day, was a real statement of intent going into the season.

Kanu was a wonderful player to watch, and should have got more game time IMO.

Remember him being absolutely unplayable against Bradford in a night cup match.

Mad to think Kanu was the worst signing of that trio.

(Not that Kanu was a bad signing, the other two were phenomenal though)
