England v India Test Series!!..
#1
Begins today apart from Root is world class with this depleted bowling attack this a is a bang average to poor England test side!!..
The Indians have a very inexperienced side but are are very talented their bowling led by Bumrah more than capable to take 20 English wickets. The great weather will also help Indian batsmen.
England need to win this series & regain the Ashes down under to be number 1 test side.
My prediction this series a classic & 2 - 2. Cool

If the pitch is anything like what we saw at Lords for the WTC Final, then it will be a real test for a young Indian batting line up.

India have the bowling attack to take 20 wickets in each game, it's whether the batsmen can support them with enough runs.

Given the weather, it feels like the sort of morning where you have to win the toss and be 80-0 at lunch.

It's looking pretty overcast until Day 4 up in Leeds so maybe not as much as a batsmans paradie as if it was taking place in London this weekend where it's going to be 34c tomorrow.

For me England have got this wrong, it’s going to be a long hot day in the field, with the weather being overcast and cooler over the weekend I think today is the best batting day.

Baz'n'Ben will say that they thought the batting would get easier on days 2 and 3. But for me this looks as though England were fearful of letting Bumrah get at our top order on day one of the series.

Still time for it to change - a couple of wickets before lunch changes everything.
