This season as a whole with and without Mowbray (who has just walked back in)

My main overall summary and view is that we currently still have a very good team for the Championship
That should finish 5th or 6th. We have nowhere enough clinical edge/regular intensity or consistency to be challenging any higher than that and also we always run risk of dropping lower. When you now look at the league table anyone could make 5th or 6th, Coventry and Norwich are
Now both on long winning runs (which we don’t seem capable of). Today should have been a comfortable away game and win or draw as we need more draws away and need to win our home games.
I still think we need to go even more for the win earlier in games and I think Tony will start learning more about the players soon and when to bring them on. It was strange timings for some
Of the subs today but that “handball” changed the game.
Wallace worked hard overall but how swift is still playing I don’t know.

I think we can 100% make 5th or 6th and go into play offs strong and with Crowd firing us through, if we still want to get back to the “glory league”! Fair play to Chris Wood and forest also today, madness!

Really hope we are there for play offs as love the atmosphere and actually
Gets our crowd going so I can show my lad some true support. We don’t see or hear it anyhow near enough nowadays down the Hawthorns.

We are a team right now who are no where near the top 2 and in such a tight league small margins make a big difference

We have a good first 11 but a very weak squad overall - too many similar players and not enough pace or striking threat

We are 6th and frankly are only just in the play offs as much due to the inept/woeful/corrupt officials in this league. Today the long list in games that we have been impacted by an official - Sheff Weds, Watford, Millwall, Oxford, Derby, today all have cost us 8-10 points purely down to officials, whilst Blackburns last 3 wins have been only because of officials.

Plenty to play for, a striker and 'the evens itself out' and we comfortably make the play offs, and then its a lottery

I don’t think we will ever do anything comfortably! Doesn’t seem that way anyway.
Agree though we are about where we should be and fine margins will separate 5th-8th.

When everyone is available, we have a team that should be in the playoffs. Without a centre forward, which is where we are now, we are a mid table team. Time will tell whether Lankshear ( or a returning Dike) is good enough to fill that massive gap.
