Can anybody explain as a club who has financial problems why we gave him a 2 year contract. We will not pick him, so we cannot tell how good or bad he is. We will struggle to sell him / transfer him as any club interested in him is unlikely to be able to afford his wages.

OK, but he was our first attacking signing, I think maybe we didn't think we get many others in. It was also pre-the Dobbin loan.
