I do wonder sometimes why they have such a negative opinion of him. 
We must be missing something - or he i really happy here and just enjoying his time.

Barnsley - probably because he left when they were relegated and as per usual when a player leaves post-relegation you never like to admit they were actually half decent.

Sunderland - was only there on loan wasn't he? Loans can be hit and miss. Even Dobbin managed a goal on the weekend.

Have a mate who's a Barnsley fan, said he was class under Val as a wing back but he's been poor since as he didn't want to be there and didn't want to play left back under other managers.
