it's very strange how one person can capture the essence of an era particularly of the 60's. 

Not to be patronising,  but if you not alive in the 60s you have no idea of what a social and cultural revolution was taking place.

I'm beginning to realise that the 60s and 70s live on in the memories of we old folks - when we're gone, no-one will understand what changing times they were for music, as well as society/technology/politics/culture and everything else.
