Thought he was younger than that. Needs to start showing signs of being good enough in the summer.

Bart's fit for the weekend and Semi nearly fit according to the Dood.

In fairness he has shown that he's good enough in his loan spells. He needs to be given a proper go in the first team though like O'Shea was. The club clearly see him as a long term option given the length of contract he has and the bid we turned down from Blackburn for him last year.

Bartley and Ajayi are both out of contract this summer and Holgate is going back to Everton so that’s three spaces that’ll need filling - two even if Bartley triggers enough appearances for an extension.

Taylor will get preseason to stake a claim as we need to rebuild our defence in the summer, and it’s better that he gets experience of playing week in, week out with a side chasing promotion rather than dropping back to 5th choice here.

Not sure Lee Johnson is the manager I’d want him working with mind.

Exactly this. He's better playing competitive football than sitting on our bench.

I'm sure the last thing I saw on that subject was that Holgate wouldn't be staying with Everton. What price Mogga signing him in the summer??

If Semi and Barts are available, will Heggem go back to full back? I'm guessing not - Mowbray probably likes to have a proper ball-player like Styles at full back.

It's great to see that good old Kyle has gone from zero to hero, but he's nearly 34 and has missed a lot of games through injury in the last three seasons. I can't believe we'd give him another extension.

Bartley's an excellent centre half at this level. If we don't keep him, I think he'll walk into any championship team.
