Our result last week might not have been that bad. Currently 4-1 up away at Newcastle.

Exactly and also the much hyped Williams is losing 3-0 to Cardiff.

That 2am coach ride probably long forgotten now.
Fair play to Iraola, doing a fantastic job there.

Kluivert got a hattrick too
It must be because Botman is shit and Dan Burn hasn’t yet learned the basics of defending so should go on loan to a league one club

The Eddie Howe derby. One of those matches where I want both teams to lose.
Not seen a Newcastle team look so out of sorts for a long time. They looked really leggy. Bournemouth were excellent.

Could someone explain to me how an unfashionable club with a stadium capacity of 11700 can satisfy psr?
I've looked on football365 and in the last 5 years they've had a net spend of £128m. I know there are other sources of income but I can't imagine there are too many kids in the far east wearing Bournemouth shirts. Or do they have their own version of Christian Purslow? Please could someone enlighten me

A net spend of £128m in five seasons is fantastic. £25m net spend a season is never going to see them in trouble. They are very good at finding nuggets and sell at the right time. Ake, Wilson, Ramsdale, Danjuma, Solanke....there's £250m sales right there

They buy young, give them games and sell for a profit. Sure they waste a fair bit of cash, but they get their big buys right more often than not. Spent around 40M on Kerkez and Zarbanyi and will sell them both for 60M a piece. By all accounts, they've already bought a replacement left back from Argentina for 5-6m that a lot of other big clubs were linked with. They're following the Brighton model of buying the top talents that the big clubs have looked at but can't commit to giving game time to. Bournemouth promise games and the opportunity to move on in 18-24 months provided you do well. |
