“No don’t want him”
“Has a ceiling”
“Uninspiring”

All things I’ve heard in recent weeks.

These opinions are simply bonkers.

Reading similar regarding Mowbray.

I do wonder what WBA fans actually want

a manager would be a start, followed by a old fashioned number 9 and a trophy in my lifetime would be be a bonus.

A fancy foreign manager who doesn't look like he'd be employed by any local market stall who plays attacking football.

I don't think Bilic is a particularly gifted manager, but he was very, very popular with fans while he was here.

I say that as someone who would be perfectly happy with Eustace and at this mid-season point, would prefer a manager with Championship experience.

What do I want? A sensible managerial appointment that demonstrates those running the club know what they’re doing.

I’m confident we will get one, but this process has shown that Nestor and co have a fair bit to learn about the Championship.

For the record I would take Mowbray or Eustace over Bilic (unless Bilic gets to bring Pereira back with him).

I actually think Eustace would have been my preferred realistic choice given that Dyche probably wouldn't come. It's always exciting to have someone bringing fresh ideas from abroad like Wicky but it's very difficult to know how a coach who's new to the country will settle in.

My concern is what approach we are taking. I thought we were going with the head coach type structure rather than the manager who controls everything. Are we abandoning this just because we couldn't get Wicky? Or will the likes of Mowbray / Eustace / whoever fit into the head coach structure?

Just not comfortable with us lurching from one approach to the other, if that's what we're actually doing.

I don't know why Eustace would leave Blackburn, but for me the best thing about getting him would be hopefully the demoralising effect it might have on one of our play rivals.

I want the process over and a new manager/ coach in place by Friday. Will it happen I’ve no idea but I still trust in the club to bring in the right person.

I want to see a logical appointment.

A young, head coach, with a fledgling reputation as somebody who improves individuals, doesn't cut corners and can be tactically astute. They don't have to be the finished article but an investment for the club.

Or... A stop gap if the above isnt available or found yet. ToMo would be fine.

I don't want to see a journeyman old dog, or an established merry go round championship body on a long contract who has very little space to improve and develop. We need our head coach to be a saleable asset.

Let's face it we haven't had a real sporting director since Dan Ashworth left. Ian Pearce is a scout. What does Nestor know about the role?

Oh and I'd forgotten about Mr Dolmio.
