Lecicester have recalled cannon from his loan at Stoke. On the down side he is being touted as a £7m target for Sunderland and the Sheffield clubs. Sad

He's raw but can already have an impact at 22 years old. Will be a good signing for someone, I was hoping we'd go for a loan deal last summer.

If its a 7m deal and given everything I hope we have had a conversation at least. Especially given the Maja news

Just a pity we’re £7M shy of being able to afford him.

If Maja hadn’t been injured and we’d sold him, then Cannon would have been a perfect replacement.

Without selling someone we’re getting nowhere near bids for players like that.

All depends on contract length - a 7m signing over 3.5 years could be do-able especially given the CC money coming in, knowing that the club fully expect at least 1 of Maja and Fellows to be gone in the summer, if not both

We did well to get what we did for him!

It makes sense now why Stoke have recalled Nathan Lowe from Walsall. Good news for us that Cannon won't be playing against us on Saturday.

He is apparently very, very slow which is why Leicester don't want him, technically good and can finish, but no pace at all.
